Sashay on the Square, anyone? Because that's exactly what Michelle Visage wants as she's revealed her plans to land a role in EastEnders.
The RuPaul's Drag Race judge admitted on The One Show on Wednesday (January 4) that she would love to rub elbows with the likes of Stacey Slater and Phil Mitchell. She already has big plans for what her role on the BBC One soap could be too — none other than Kat Slater's cousin!
"I've been trying for this for about five years," the former Strictly Come Dancing star told hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas, before admitting she'd gotten nowhere just yet in her plot to head to Albert Square. She then explained she's from New Jersey (which she described as "the Liverpool of the United States", her words, not ours, guys), which makes her perfect for the London soap.

"I wear leopard print more than Kat Slater wears leopard print. I have leopard print everything! So I was thinking, 'Why can't I play Kat's American cousin?'" she asked, as Alex and Jermaine grew increasingly enthusiastic about her soap plans.
Michelle then revealed a little more about how she thinks she could be written into the show, sharing her week-long cameo plan. "I come to town, I'm not looking for a permanent position, I'm not going to fake an East End accent. I'm going to be me, from New Jersey, going to be like, 'Kat!' She hates me, and that makes the situation even better."
We can't lie, that does sound pretty epic.

While we'll have to wait and see if we ever do see Michelle as Michelle Slater flashing her leopard print and catching up with the Slater clan at the Queen Vic, there's no doubting the soap is open to a cameo or two and has had some pretty big ones in the past year alone.
Rag'n'Bone Man popped into the Square over Christmas, while none other than King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort, greeted the Walford's regulars in celebration of the late Queen Elizabeth II's coronation over the summer.
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
