RuPaul’s Drag Race is once again expanding the franchise, with series 15 and some brand new spin-offs on the way.
But star of season 4 Willam has called for a change to be made to the UK series, in order for the franchise to continue to flourish.
"Drag Race has been changing it up a little bit every season, especially with their All Stars format where no girls would go home, or there was a lip-sync roundtable thing like season 13," she said to Digital Spy.

"The one way it could change, and should change, is that they should give the girls in the UK a prize. They spend a lot of money on costumes, and they don’t pay them for that.
"Some of these girls are coming out in the red, poor Veronica Green. They need to pay the girls a prize, especially the ones that win or get to the top 4 because that is thousands and thousands and thousands of pounds worth of outfits and hair.
"It’s not like my season where you could just roll up in trash bags."
She continued: "Even making the audition tape, they require 14 or 15 looks, because they want to make sure you’re not going to run out of clothes. They need to make sure you’re ready. It is like going into the Thunderdome, you have to be prepared.
"It is a big undertaking, so first you need to afford to be able to audition, know how to make a tape and all of these things.
"You already have to be serious and committed to drag, and drag is expensive."

Cheryl Hole, who is starring alongside Willam in drag murder-mystery play Death Drop: Back In The Habit, added: "I love that with each season, we’re getting so many different types of drag.
"So many different representations of bodies, of trans performers. I would love to eventually see all types of drag represented on TV.
"Shows like The Boulet Brothers Dragula do that already with the kings, and we’re doing Death Drop with one of the best king artists on this planet, LoUis CYfer.
"It’s so fun to work with a collective of not just queens, but drag artists."
Death Drop: Back In The Habit, which also stars Drag Race UK alum Victoria Scone and River Medway, sees a bunch of fierce nuns trapped in a convent when a serial slayer comes in, slashing his way through the sisters.
It’s from the producers of hit show Death Drop, with Cheryl adding: "It’s got the essence of Death Drop, the murder-mystery mixed with the comedy with a bit of a ‘ooh!’ It’s all in this show, but with more loveable characters you’ll want to see it again and again."
Death Drop: Back in the Habit is touring the UK until March. For a full list of dates, see here. Tickets to the show are now on sale and can be found on Death Drop’s official website.
