Two of the cult classic Batman movies from the 1990s are getting deluxe 4K Steelbook releases this year.

While they were controversial in their time, fans have come around on director Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever (1995) and Batman and Robin (1997) in more recent years.

Batman Forever featured Val Kilmer taking over the cape and cowl from predecessor Michael Keaton to tangle with The Riddler (Jim Carrey) and Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones).

Its Steelbook features all-new matte artwork on the packaging to highlight The Riddler, and is jam-packed with bonus features including a director's commentary with the late Joel Schumacher.

Numerous featurettes are included as well a 16-page information booklet — as is the music video for Seal's iconic soundtrack song 'Kiss from a Rose'. Some of the long-awaited deleted scenes are also featured.

The Batman Forever 4K Ultra HD Ultimate Collector's Edition with Steelbook is on pre-order for £39.99 ahead of a March 13, 2023 release — with a T-shirt offer tie-in also available right now.

Batman and Robin was quite divisive when it was originally released, yet much like its predecessor, many fans have come to love Mr Freeze's cheeky ice puns over the past 25-plus years.

In this caper, George Clooney takes over control of the Bat-Cave when Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) team up. Batman is joined by his sidekicks Robin (Chris O'Donnell) and Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone) to take down the baddies.

Much like the Batman Forever Steelbook, Batman and Robin has a director's commentary from Joel Schumacher and multiple featurettes. Three bonus music videos are also included.

The same T-shirt offer applies when you pre-order Batman & Robin Ultimate Collectors Edition 4K Ultra HD Steelbook (includes Blu-ray) for £39.99 ahead of its March 13, 2023 release date.
