Marvel star Jeremy Renner has confirmed that he's returned home from hospital following a snowplough accident earlier this month.
Replying to a tweet about his latest TV show Mayor of Kingstown, Renner revealed that he had been discharged from hospital and able to watch the season 2 premiere episode (which aired on January 15) while at home. "Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home," he shared.
Renner had suffered major trauma and blood loss after being run over by a snowplough while attempting to clear the roads near this home, according to Sky News. He was later airlifted to hospital.

Renner has been sharing his recovery process with fans across his social media platforms since the accident, which took place near Lake Tahoe on New Year's Day.
Sharing a bedside selfie to his Instagram account, the actor thanked fans for their well-wishes. "Thank you all for your kind words. [I'm] too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all," he wrote.
The actor then later shared a video of his mother and sister visiting him in the ICU, joking with the pair as he got a scalp massage through a plastic cap.
His sister Kym Renner later told People that, despite the severity of his injuries, he was making great progress in his recovery. "We are so thrilled with his progress. If anyone knows Jeremy, he is a fighter and doesn't mess around," she said.

"He is crushing all the progress goals. We couldn't feel more positive about the road ahead."
Meanwhile, a promotional image for Mayor of Kingstown was recently re-edited following the accident, making the star appear with less wounds on his face.
Updating the marketing image to remove wounds from Renner's face, it would appear that Paramount+ had chosen to tone it down out of respect for the actor while he recovers.
