Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse featured Miles Morales teaming up with various alternate universe wall-crawlers, including Spider-Ham and Spider-Man Noir.
The first of two sequels, Across the Spider-Verse, is on the way and we've seen that it features a major number of new alternate Spideys. But it looks like there wasn't enough room to bring back the first film's Spideys, apart from the main trio of Miles, Spider-Gwen and Peter B Parker.
Speaking to ScreenRant, Nicolas Cage confirmed that he wouldn't be coming back as Spider-Man Noir, stating: "You'd have to ask Sony. I don't know what's going on with that. No one's spoken to me about that.

"Ask them. I don't know. I really don't. I wish they would. I love Spider-Man Noir, too. I think that's a great character.
"Spider-Man's the coolest superhero. And then you combine that with Cagney and Bogart and Edward G Robinson, come on. It's a great character."
If Cage's Spider-Man Noir does indeed sit out Across the Spider-Verse, we could still see him in the third movie, Beyond the Spider-Verse, which serves as the conclusion of the two-parter.

Last year, it was revealed that Scott Pilgrim vs the World actor Jason Schwartzman would be playing the film's villain, The Spot. Nope and Black Panther star Daniel Kaluuya has also joined the cast as Spider-Punk, while we'll get to hear a lot more of Oscar Isaac's Spider-Man 2099 too.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has a cinema release date of June 2, 2023 in the US.
