Marvel star Jeremy Renner has provided an update on his new series following his recent accident.
The Hawkeye actor was hospitalised following an accident with a snowplough on New Year’s Day, in which he saved his nephew in the process.
The actor is due to host his own Disney+ series Rennervation, which sees him give old and rundown vehicles a new lease of life.

In a post on Instagram, Renner promised fans that the series would premiere in the near future, writing: “We are so very excited to share the #rennervations show with you all on @disneyplus coming very soon!!! As soon as I’m back on my feet, we are coming to YOU , all across the globe… I hope you’re ready.”
As a result of the accident, which occurred at Renner’s home, the actor suffered blunt chest trauma and several orthopaedic injuries.
Upon his entry into hospital, Renner’s family released a statement, which read: “Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families.

“They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans,” they continued.
The most recent update revealed the cause of the accident, with a police report saying: “Once he was off the Pistenbully [the snowplough], [Renner] realised it was heading directly toward [his nephew]. He feared the Pistenbully was going to hit [his nephew], so he decided to attempt to stop or divert the Pistenbully.”
In addition to Rennervation, the actor’s other upcoming projects include the second season of Mayor of Kingstown, as well as a film about the opioid crisis.
Hawkeye is streaming on Disney+.
