Rogue One: A Star Wars Story prequel series Andor didn't employ the wonders of The Volume, unlike The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Incase you were just slapped in the face by gobbledygook, The Volume (also known as Stagecraft) is state-of-the-art technology; essentially, a gigantic wraparound video wall projecting ultra-HD virtual locations to offer the performers a sense of diegetic reality.
Attending this week's Television Critics Association press tour, Andor creator Tony Gilroy explained to TVLine why it wasn't utilised this time around.

"Nobody's against The Volume — The Volume is fantastic for the things that it's for," he pointed out, before suggesting Andor (starring Diego Luna once again as the eponymous rebel spy) "is just on a massively epic scale, and people would be running off the set all the time".
The screenwriter/director continued: "Believe me, there were things we wish we could have done on The Volume, they might have been simpler! But our show is wide, it's huge, we have 211 speaking parts.
"I think if we have this conversation at the end of the show, it will be different, because the width and breadth and visual ambition and travelling ambition of the show is huge. It just didn't lend itself to that kind of production."

Away from techno-talk, Cassian Andor actor Luna recently weighed in on his return to a galaxy far, far away.
"I thought it was going to be a one-time thing in my life, and I shared it with my kids, and I saw it. I was ready to move on," he told Entertainment Weekly.
"Then I was invited to [return for the show], and it made complete sense. I had so much more to say and do with this role," Luna continued. "I just wanted to explore many things that I thought about while I was shooting that a film would never allow you to explore."
Andor premieres with three episodes on September 21, streaming on Disney+. New episodes will then follow weekly.
