DC boss James Gunn has shut down the latest rumours regarding Wonder Woman's future.
This week, Variety reported that Wonder Woman isn't part of Gunn and Peter Safran's "three-year interconnected vision for the cinematic universe" at all.
One concerned fan on Twitter asked Gunn to "debunk" the report, leading Gunn to reply: "I hereby debunk it (only because it’s not true)."

However, it's unclear whether he meant that there are plans for Wonder Woman to appear in the first three years, or he was saying the claim was untrue because it is actually an eight-to-ten-year plan, rather than three years.
Gunn said back in November: "We spent the past couple days with a group of some of the best thinkers in the industry, the best writers in the industry starting to map out that 8-to-10-year plan of what it's going to look like in theatre, in TV, in animation, across the board for these characters."
Since Gunn and Safran were appointed co-CEOs of DC Studios back in October, a number of developments have been announced.
Henry Cavill will not be returning to the role of Superman, while Dwayne Johnson confirmed that Black Adam "will not be in their first chapter of storytelling".

There were also reports last month that Patty Jenkins' plans for a third Wonder Woman instalment were rejected because it didn't align with the studio's new direction.
Last month, Gunn addressed the rumours that Gadot has departed from the role of Wonder Woman in response to a fan who said the "move to boot Cavill and Gadot doesn't inspire confidence".
Though Gunn denied that Gadot had been 'booted', some fans speculated whether this meant the star remains as Wonder Woman or if she is leaving the role of her own accord instead.
Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984 are now available to rent or buy on streaming on Prime Video.
