Superman & Lois has unveiled its season 3 teaser, giving fans a first glimpse at the new Jonathan Kent.
Original star Jordan Elsass exited the role last year, later explaining that he had decided to take time to prioritise his mental health, with Michael Bishop later confirmed to be taking over the part.
The new clip – which shows Bishop in character – teases high stakes for the Kent family, including the possibility of a new addition to the family with a likely pregnancy.

Last month, it was confirmed that the new season will premiere on March 14, with network The CW sharing a synopsis reading: "Clark and Lois are now working at the Smallville Gazette together and enjoying small town life.
"But the Kents' romantic bliss only shines a light on how isolating 'the secret' can be, as Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) struggles to balance a new love interest and her friendship with Lois.
"However, Lois' own work-life balance is put to the test when an undercover assignment reveals a deadly foe that promises to change the Kent family forever. Superman would move heaven and earth for his family, but with a villain this merciless, even that might not be enough.
"Meanwhile, the Kent boys find themselves being pulled in opposite directions as Jordan (Alex Garfin) discovers what a superhero identity really means and Jonathan (Michael Bishop) searches for purpose beyond the football field."

Elsass previously addressed his exit from the show, explaining at the time: "I know that I was pumped for season 3, for sure, but what are you going to do?
"Anyway, mental health is definitely 100% priority. It's pinnacle. It's got to take precedence. And mine has been… the last couple of years… it's been rough.
"I need some time to myself. I'm still debating whether I'm even going to act for a while. I may go in a different direction."
Superman & Lois airs on The CW in the US, and on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
