Cash reveals that Jacob is pleading not guilty to the charges, sending Bree into a downward spiral. Fearing the worst, Bree wonders how Jacob is reacting. With reality setting in, Cash warns Bree to call 000 if Jacob breaches the AVO.
Defying the AVO, Jacob calls Bree in a rage as she's torn between her love and fear of Jacob. Fearing for her, Remi snatches the phone and orders Jacob to stop calling. Bree accuses Remi of not understanding relationships, but she is shocked to learn that he's in love with her.
Remi's admission sends Bree into fearful retreat. Remi's desperation to protect Bree resembles Jacob's controlling behaviour to a traumatised Bree.
Meanwhile, in a bid to honour Tane's cultural heritage, Felicity secretly works with Nikau on translating her wedding vows into Te Reo Māori. But her confidence falters when she sees the translation – this is going to be much harder than she thought.
Elsewhere, Eden turns to Cash for off the record help over the missing dresses, even though he's the last person she wants to be around. The sexual tension stews between Cash and Eden, as they put their heads together to catch the thief. But as Cash leans in for a kiss, they are rudely interrupted by Felicity.
