Stacey is rattled by Xander's strict boundaries on friendship, but she tries abiding by his rules. The former couple admit their lingering feelings for each other.
Reluctant to let a good thing go astray, Stacey promises to try being exclusive for Xander. The couple are blissfully reunited on Xander's terms. Rose is happy for her brother, but is wary of him playing with fire.
Meanwhile, Leah is affronted to learn about Justin's reckless gambling on a charity event. Theo also has the sneaking suspicion that Justin sabotaged John's golf buggy. Ashamed of Justin's immorality, Theo pushes him to confess, threatening to throw the game if Justin refuses. Justin refuses to stand in the way of Dean winning the car, promising instead to confess after the tournament.
When Roo receives CCTV evidence of Justin tampering with the golf buggy, Marilyn and Alf are scandalised. Determined not to ruin the charitable spirit of the tournament, they decide to address the cheating after the celebrations.
Justin's golf team victory is short-lived when they are disqualified for cheating. Outraged to have his prize car retracted, Dean goes on a vendetta against Justin. John is elated to be the heroic leader of the winning team. The success sends John on an uncharacteristic generosity spree, shouting drinks galore.
With his tail between his legs, Justin apologises, but cowers when faced with Leah's wrath. For Dean, an apology isn't enough – Justin now owes him a car. Later, Leah forces Justin to sleep on the couch.
