Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Brian Packham will be 'down with the kids' in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, after he's forced to move into Amy Barlow's flat.
It all starts with builder Ed Bailey popping round to The Kabin owner's place, where he delivers the news that Brian will have to move out while new electrics are installed.
Initially, Mary Taylor kindly offers her couch for him to sleep on, but upon helping Brian to unpack his belongings, she comes across a Weatherfield Gazette review of the recent Roxanna production that Brian himself wrote.

Feeling betrayed – a positive review from a friend doesn't quite shine so much – Mary smacks Brian on the head with the newspaper and orders him to make new sleeping arrangements.
Later in the week, Brian has no other option but to move into the teenagers' flat-share where his idea of bonding with Amy's mates is to do a Vernon Kay impression.
Already tired of his antics, Amy tells Summer Spellman that the newsagent is driving her up the wall.

Looking for a way out, Amy does her best to convince Mary how deeply regretful Brian is about upsetting her. She eventually joins Brian over at the café and wonders if they can patch things up.
Fresh from a successful catch-up, Brian informs Amy that he and Mary have indeed sorted things out between them and she'll be coming over for tea.
Now that's the definition of a plan backfired.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
