Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan reveals 'boob job' transformation results

"This was something I wanted to do for a really long time."

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has opened up on her recent cosmetic surgery procedure.

On February 6, the actress took to Instagram to share a video of a "boob job" she had in January.

Flanagan, best known for the role of Rosie Webster on the ITV soap, posted a video before and after the procedure, writing: "This was something I wanted to do for a really long time and by doing so I've really got my confidence back."

The soap star has three children with footballer Scott Sinclair and has put down breastfeeding as the reason why her breasts were saggy, despite there being no evidence breastfeeding affects the appearance of breasts.

She explained she "wanted to get them done pretty much straight away" after breastfeeding her younger child, son Charlie.

"I had to wait though for six months after feeding and then I went for it in January. I don't regret one second of my breastfeeding journeys they were precious times," she continued.

"I was a little bit nervous I was worried they were going to be too big for my frame but they are so perfect for me and so in proportion."

Flanagan's post was met with mixed reactions online, with some users praising her for her honesty and others criticising her for using her platform to normalise resorting to cosmetic procedures.

"I am all for body confidence and I am all for empowering other women and supporting other women in their decisions that they decide to make," the actress added in her caption.
