Emmerdale stars Rosie Bentham and Daisy Campbell share real-life friendship with holiday photos

They're closer off-screen than on.

Emmerdale's Rosie Bentham and Daisy Campbell may not be the closest on the ITV soap, but in real life they are very good friends.

Daisy recently shared some photos to her Instagram page of herself and Rosie taking a short trip to Paris, including a photo of the two of them posing by the Eiffel Tower, an obligatory dinner and wine photo, and a photo of an adorable dog.

"Paris, you've been an absolute joy," Daisy wrote, to which co-star Katie Hill (who plays Sarah Sugden on the soap) replied: "The prettiest girls".

Rosie also shared a series of pictures to her social media page, including local food and sights, plus a number of selfies.

Rosie's caption confirmed that they just went away for the weekend, with Daisy responding and calling it the "best weekend evaaa".

On the show itself, Rosie's character Gabby Thomas and Daisy's character Amelia Spencer have been at each other's throats after an incident last year with Gabby's son Thomas Tate, and she retaliated by evicting her former friend.

Since then, Gabby has been folded even further into Kim Tate's world, while her attempts at catching the eye of mysterious newcomer nanny Nicky have failed. Amelia, meanwhile, has recently given birth and is struggling to get her son's dad Samson Dingle to be on board with taking responsibility.

Maybe the characters need a weekend away in Paris with some good food and a beautiful dog to help clear the animosity between them?
