Hollyoaks' Felix Westwood was left hurt and upset following intense scenes with romantic partner Mercedes, who has been struggling since her killer son tried to cut her out of his life.
Mercedes was left distraught recently after Bobby sent her a letter declaring that he wants nothing to do with her.
At the start of the episode, Mercedes was left fuming when wine was hidden from her while Goldie warned her not to upset Felix. Mercedes then stormed off intent on finding some alcohol to numb her pain.

Mercedes then met Felix at his place and immediately started kissing him. Felix asked her if she had been drinking.
Mercedes — in the mood to party — tried to get Felix to return her affections and insisted she didn’t want to talk about Bobby. Instead, she stripped naked and told Felix: "If you want me, it’s now or never."
Off-screen, Felix rejected Mercedes’ drunken advances, leaving Mercedes pretty furious.

"I can’t feel anything apart from gut-wrenching guilt. That’s why I wanted to escape for an hour," Mercedes said. Felix tried to reassure her by telling her he did want her, but he explained that alcohol and sex are not the answer to the issues she is going through at the moment.
"I don’t need your help. You was just a bit of fun and I thought you were a sure thing but clearly not," Mercedes said before storming out. "You are pathetic and I’m going to find myself a real man."
Mercedes arrived home with more alcohol while the letter from her son played over and over in her head. Mercedes continued drinking. Later, Felix explained to John Paul and Goldie what happened between him and Mercedes.

"I just come over to tell you that somebody really needs to look out for her. She is on full self-destruct mode," Felix said before trying to get out of the situation. Goldie, however, explained that Mercedes needed him because he’s been so good to her.
Before the message could sink in, however, a drunken Mercedes stumbled in with a man. Felix, distraught, stormed out — leaving a hapless Mercedes in his wake.
