Neighbours star Candice Leask has responded to fan speculation about her reprising her role as Wendy Rodwell in the upcoming revival.
It was announced last week that the Australian soap will return to screens next year after being saved by the free streaming service Amazon Freevee, which comes after its last episode aired in July.
Wendy and her family were the last ever family to move onto Ramsay Street back in May, but when Neighbours was axed by Channel 5, the many storylines planned for them never made it to the screen.

Naturally, fans have begun speculating that the Rodwell clan will be back for the revival.
Although Leask took to Twitter to thank fans for requesting the return of the Rodwells, she wasn't prepared to confirm (or deny, for that matter) those suspicions.
She wrote: "Haven't been on Twitter in Ages! Thx u as ALWAYS to the amazing Neighbours Twitter family who sent msgs hoping for a Rodwell/Wendy Revival.
"Even though no one knows who the new cast will be, I'm just so happy the fans were heard & your favorite show is coming back to you."

Previously speaking to Digital Spy about being the last family on Ramsay Street, Leask said: "I feel really grateful and I know that Lloyd [Will, who played Andrew] and Emerald [Chan, who played Sadie] feel the same way. We wish it could have gone on for longer.
"We didn't know that we were going to be the last Neighbours family when we signed up. Once we found out that the show had lost its funding, it dawned on us.
"What was so cool about it was that we were multicultural. We're all Australian, but we all have backgrounds that add to how Neighbours has evolved over 37 years."
Neighbours returns in the second half of 2023 with new episodes streaming free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. Network 10 will retain first-run rights in Australia for the new series.
