Strictly Come Dancing star Anita Rani's gameshow has reportedly been cancelled by ITV after just one series.

Fastest Finger First, a show which saw five contestants compete for a guaranteed place on the next series of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, debuted last year, running for five episodes.

However, after just one series there has been no return date announced, despite Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? looking for contestants to appear in the next series of the show.

ITV has now confirmed the Fastest Finger First won't be returning any time soon, telling Digital Spy in a statement: "As it stands we haven't recorded any future episodes of Fastest Finger First but wouldn't rule out further shows in the future."

Rani took part in the 2015 Strictly Come Dancing series, where she reached the semi-final with her partner Gleb Savchenko.

In other Strictly news, Gemma Atkinson and professional dancer Gorka Marquez, who she met on the 2017 series, have announced they are expecting their second child.

Gemma posted a series of black and white pictures on Instagram showing off her bump and captioned the post: "Impossible to hide my belly any longer. I've officially 'popped'. Our baby boy will be joining our family later this year.

"We feel so incredibly blessed and grateful to be on this journey again. Mia is absolutely thrilled! Although we may need to do some negotiating on names, as so far she's adamant he's going to be called Barbie."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
