Strictly Come Dancing pro Jowita Przystał has paid tribute to her partner Hamza Yassin following their win.
Last night (December 17) Hamza and Jowita took home the 2022 Glitterball Trophy, beating fellow finalists Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez, Fleur East and Vito Coppola, and Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.
Now, Jowita, who debuted as a professional dancer this year, has penned an emotional and lengthy statement to her Instagram saying she "couldn't be prouder" of her partner Hamza.

Posting a shot of the duo holding up the Glitterball Trophy, Jowita captioned her post: "First day when I met you on top of that lighthouse I knew our journey [would] be great.
"I've asked you for two things – trust and energy – and you gave me much more. Seeing you pushing the boundaries, going out of your comfort zone, working so hard throughout those 13 weeks made me the proudest teacher. You've proven everything is possible if [you're] willing to fight for it."
Paying tribute to Hamza, Jowita went on to say how proud she was of her partner saying she was "honoured" and "blessed" to dance with him adding: "You are a champion!!!! WE DID IT!"

Finally, Jowita used the post to congratulate the other finalists, all of the couples who took part, and to thank the crew.
Taking to his own Instagram to congratulate the pair on their win, judge Anton Du Beke wrote: "Congratulations to brilliant champions @hamzayassin90 and @jowitaprzystal! What a fantastic final to finish off an incredible series. Thank you for bringing the sunshine."
While judge Shirley Ballas used Instagram to describe the pair as: "A beautiful partnership that shone so brightly throughout the series."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
