A first proper look at Death in Paradise spin-off series Beyond Paradise has been unveiled in a new teaser trailer.
The new BBC One series brings back Kris Marshall's DI Humphrey Goodman as he relocates to the Devonshire town of Shipton Abbott with his fiancée Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton).
The brief first look at the series sees Humphrey try to establish himself in his new surroundings, though it looks like he may have to go some way to win the locals over, with some calling him "a bit odd" behind his back.
And it already looks like he will be causing "havoc" as he works alongside new colleagues including DS Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi) and PC Kelby Hartford (Dylan Llewellyn).
While in Shipton Abbott, Humphrey joins the local police force while Martha pursues her dream of opening her own restaurant, though it looks like he will come across some bizarre cases in his new job.
New cast members include Felicity Montagu as office support Margo Martins and Barbara Flynn as Martha's mum Anne Lloyd.

Last year, show writer Tony Jordan opened up how about Beyond Paradise will differ from the main series, explaining to Radio Times: "It’s got the same uplifting escapism as Death in Paradise, and a puzzle to work out in every episode.
"The way we differentiate it is, it’s not always murder, and the way we do our reveal has changed. We’ve taken the good stuff, and we’ve added to it, and made it slightly different."
He also suggested that the series will be "100% as beautiful as Death in Paradise", adding: "You know what? It may rain less, because we film in the rainy season in Guadeloupe."
Beyond Paradise debuts on February 24 on BBC One and iPlayer. Death in Paradise series 12 airs on Friday nights on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
