RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star The Vivienne will be making Dancing On Ice history in the new year, as she becomes the first drag queen to take to the rink on the ITV show.

While admiring her fellow queen, Divina De Campo has suggested she’d be keen to make history in another star-studded competition – Strictly Come Dancing.

Chatting exclusively with Digital Spy, Frock Destroyers stars Divina, Blu Hydrangea and Baga Chipz revealed which TV shows they’d like to work on next.

Divina confessed she would love to show off her moves on Strictly Come Dancing next year and become the first drag performer to compete on the show.

"I would kill!" Divina exclaimed. "I would literally kill to be on Strictly."

"Divina would be brilliant at that," Baga remarked. "I would do it, but just for the money."

Blu revealed she’d be keen to take part in another reality TV show and is eager to head to the jungle for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

"And I’ll be on Can’t Pay? We’ll Take it Away! or Benefits Britain," Baga joked.

"I was going to say Big Brother, that works too," Blu chimed in, with Baga adding: "Oh, Big Brother – I’d be driving everyone up the wall, arguing."

As the 2022 season of Strictly Come Dancing has only just drawn to a close, with wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin and his professional partner Jowita Przystal crowned Strictly champions, it’s currently far too early for the 2023 line-up to be announced.

Divina will have to patiently wait to discover if she’ll get the chance to battle it out for the famous Glitterball Trophy next year.

While a celebrity drag queen has not yet competed on the show, Strictly is no stranger to the artform as back in 2020 Johannes Radebe, Gorka Márquez and Giovanni Pernice performed a group number in drag – complete with lipstick and heels.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are also stream on BBC iPlayer.
