The professional dancer has altered her look.

Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has unveiled a change to her trademark red hair.

The professional dancer, who was partnered with Tyler West on this year’s series, showcased her new ‘candy cane’ look with a video on TikTok and Instagram, which has seen her add a streak of white to her hair.

“Thank god my hairdresser @vickydemetriouhair has done such a fab job of my hair that it takes the attention away from the hand that has clearly not been washed after a fake tan application another amazing set of @greatlengthsuk this time we popped some blonde/pale pink bits around the face line,” she wrote.

Dianne and Tyler were eliminated from Strictly at the Blackpool stage on week nine, with the professional subsequently paying tribute to the radio presenter in a heartfelt post.

“Between your smile, presence and torch collection, my gosh you lit up the room and dance floor,” she wrote. "I am forever grateful for being the lucky girl to be picked to dance with you.

“Your energy, your smile, your zest for life was with us from day 1 of rehearsals right up to that EPIC SALSA. I am a proud teacher to have trained a size 12 footed handball champion to dance and who I now class a DANCER. Thank you so so much for being the best xx team TYDI will live on.”

This weekend saw the semi-final taking place, with Will Mellor, Hamza Yassin, Molly Rainford, Helen Skelton and Fleur East battling it out for a place in next weekend’s final.

The latter revealed that the remaining contestants and professionals were locked in the studio after the semi-final due to the adverse weather conditions, saying: “By the time I was leaving everyone was queuing and waiting to get in a taxi but no one could get out – even Shirley Ballas was stranded and sat on the sofa waiting for a cab,” she added.

Strictly Come Dancing's final airs on Saturday (December 17) at 7.05pm on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
